Default Why do i keep getting updates for microsoft sp2 when i have sp3?

i have windows xp pro service pack 3.. every now and then like today, i get updates from service pack 2? should i install them even though its from a different service pack or what? is it going to mess my system up a little or anything? for example today i got 3 new updates that i was asked if i wanted to install them...
    1. Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 Security Update for Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP
    2. Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2
    3. Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2

I dont know if i should even do these updates since i have sp3 not sp2. should i install them???

With all due respect, I think you're a little confused.

Service Pack 2 or 3 for Windows XP has nothing to do with Service Pack 2 for the .NET Framework, or Service Pack 2 for XML Core Services. These are totally different service packs for totally different products.
